After a very successful first event I am excited to invite you to my next Embroidery weekend being held in Barmera, South Australia.
a Gathering of Stitchers
The workshop is run by local designer Amanda Burnim.
Amanda has been developing many new and exciting projects for a few years now and has also been featured in HomeSpun magazine twice! As a regular participant in other workshops in South Australia she has gained knowledge and experience to provide a great workshop with unique and beautiful projects.

Location
The weekend will be on 1st and 2nd November 2025 at the Barmera Golf Club for two days of fun, friendship and embroidery.
About
PROJECTS
Upon arrival on each day you will receive two new projects. Two each day you say? That’s right, over the weekend you will receive 4 brand new projects designed by Amanda Burnim Designs exclusively for a gathering of stitchers. Each project is a new exclusive design that will include all the fabric and threads you need to complete them, with a preprinted stitchery all ready for you to sit back, relax and get straight into stitching.
Along with four fabulous new embroidery projects, each lovely person attending will receive a gift bag.
Now stitching and chatting all day can be hungry work and to keep us all focused on our chatting and stitching we will provide both morning and afternoon tea, along with bottles of water, tea and coffee for all to enjoy at no additional cost.
Each person will need to bring their own lunch. The Barmera Golf Club has a bar and soft drinks or a sneaky bubbly will be available to purchase on the day.
And on a stitching weekend, sometimes you need to stock up on extra supplies, or fabrics… just because! The beautiful Nay from the store Nay’s Place located in Waikerie will be holding a mini shop over the weekend to purchase any extra goodies you would like.
Price
Now how much is this going to set you back? For the full two days of stitching, including four exclusive kitted projects and morning and afternoon tea on each day the ticket price is $225.00. Oh and don’t forget you get a gift bag too!
